In the winter of 2022–2023, Rhino had the incredible honor of touring the Middle East, performing for U.S. troops stationed overseas.
We played shows at Army, Navy, and Air Force bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment tour. The U.S. military rolled out the red carpet, and it was an experience we’ll never forget—bringing a little piece of home to the men and women serving far from it.

Instrumentation consists of: Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Latin Percussion, Keyboards, and lots of Vocals. We're all about fun, dancing, and singing along!

Being a river town with an outsized musical scene, you might think Eau Claire is practically a northern version of “N’Awlins”. So where are all the Brass Bands?

In Spring 2014, trombonist Tom Carlson set out to rectify the situation by starting this band with some cream-of-the-crop horn and percussion players.

Our musical roots are definitely from the Crescent City, but don’t look for run-of-the-mill dixieland here; funky R&B, afro, and mambo grooves feature prominently in our repertoire. Think Dirty Dozen, Trombone Shorty, Rebirth, and Youngblood.

We started playing music to relieve stress when we worked for the county. It started out with just 2 of us and now we're 5! We play music from the 90s, smattered with classic rock and today's hits and gravitate toward a "dark folk" sound with 3 part harmony. Some of us have moved on in our careers but the joy we get playing together and the music itself lives on.

Performing classic covers of rock, country, and more, Moonlighters is project led with strong vocals and playful guitar melodies. Come enjoy a relaxing time and listen in on some familiar forgotten tunes.
